Appellate Practice

We handle appeals arising from our trials, and appeals of cases tried by others related to all of our areas of practice. We have written numerous amicus briefs for the Product Liability Advisory Council. These briefs have been filed in the United States Supreme Court, state supreme courts, and other appellate courts, and deal with issues like the standards for the admissibility of expert evidence in trial courts, adequacy of warnings, and standards for testing concerning alternate designs.
